PREFACE

This brochure consists of four main chapters: chapter 1 presents what is understood by the term internship for students. Indicates the periods for particular phase of practical study, points out the need not only to acquaint with operational procedures in a company but also necessity to include a particular students in to tasks performed in the company, interactive work in a group and long lasting activity up to 6 months. It says that students after satisfactory completion of their internship can develop their connections with the company through taking up their diploma projects within this company. 

Chapter 2 presents the internship system.

Chapter 3 is dedicated particularly to foreign students, however the whole brochure is in English, who take part in student mobility schemes and visit TUD for academic purposes at different levels.

Chapter 4 refers to placements abroad.

Chapter 5 includes final conclusions emerged from international cooperation in the field of vocational training. There are also appendices that present the system of TUD at the background of a selection of German universities.
