Final Conclusions

All project results have been obtained. Planned activities were performed and the main project objective has been reached. Outcomes from the pilot project are new developed course modules of students' practical vocational training in PZL Swidnik S.A. and Elektromontaz Export S.A, for students at Lublin Technical University (LTU), procedures preparing students for this training and didactic materials supporting the training. and modernization of materials for practical placement in Noorderpoort College (NC), Holland and Technical University of Dresden (TUD) Germany within the field of electrical engineering. The course modules are focused on practice in designing and included practice in general procedures performed in the companies and the modernized materials were focused on more open attitude to student mobility within EC.

During the first period of the project, mainly focused in the preparation of materials, the distinctive difference between practical placement system in Poland and at partner countries was found i.e.: the duration and the content of training. EC partners focus their practical training on group task performance and want their students to perform work specially needed by a company but Polish students perform individual tasks the reasons for them are to acquaint with the company procedures.

The identification of this difference helped to formulate new course modules to develop LTU in the direction learned from EC partners.

EC partners realised the necessity to be even more open for students from foreign countries approaching their inclusion into European Community.

The realisation of the project established new standards in co-operation between partners and strengthen the existing links. This results in further co-operation plans.

Lublin Technical University as Project Contractor would like to express their gratitude to all partners for their effort to ensure smooth and efficient realisation of the project and their proficiency, engagement, creativeness and incentive to work in the international co-operation project.
